Body

This project was designed as a bottom up process where the enthusiasm, ideas and experience can bearfruit.

So while I write about the project description, the final outcome will mostly depend on the creativity of al of us. The topics we want to cover gravitate around biodiversity.

We want to integrate some important methods: the use of digital tols, outdoor learning,physical activity(ranging frm not sitting at one’s desk for 40 minutes to playing games outside)and learning 21 st century skills such learning by doing, analysing a deluge of information or cooperating both outline and in real life.

No  2023.gada 01. janvāra līdz   30. jūnijam Rīgas Ostvalda vidusskola   tiks realizēts  Eiropas Savienības izglītības, mācību, jaunatnes un sporta programmas Erasmus+ mācību mobilitātes projekts  “ Rīkojies lokāli, domā globāli  "  sadarbībā  ar   Grācas Starptautisko

Bilingvālo skolu, Austrija.

Turpinām vērot, kā aug mūsu augi, un aizpildām augu pases. Vislabāk aug . . .

3.c klasē Tās atrodas pie loga, kur ir pieatiežami daudz saules gaismas.
Baziliks fotogrāfijā izskatās krāsni, taču ir ļoti kaprīzs, prasīgs, aug lēni.
2.b klases skolēni un klases audzinātāja rūpīgi pieskata to.
10. maijā 3.b un 3.c klases skolēni iesēja tādas pašas puķes skolas puķu dobē, lai turpinātu novērošanu un varētu secināt, kā aug minētie augi ārā un iekštelpās.

Target language: Trees and plants, feelings, weather vocabulary area
Cross –curricular links: English, Science, Art
Resources : School yard, a sheet of paper and pencils for each learners
Time Guide: 40 minutes
Aims :* to get involved and to have a great day learning and playing outside
* to celebrate and inspire outdoor learning and play
*to improve children’s health, engage them with learning and lead them to a greater connection with nature.

Spring is in bloom!

Greeting from Latvia!
The 3rd grade of Ostwald School sowed their potted plants.
We had a hard task to choose as there are hundreds of beautiful plants. We have chosen African marigold because they are widely available and undemanding. They are also hardy and bloom from June until autumn frosts in September or even October.
